Ginza, Tokyo, is one of 6 drawings analyzing 3 different scales of living through the comparative abstraction of public spaces in large buildings constructed within a 50 year time span. The drawing demonstrates the inherent density of the district as a first step in the six-part series that aims to focus on the longevity of an urban structure. This drawing is a moment frozen for the purposes of understanding obsolescence, time and documentation.
