About the work
In my childhood, I spent my summers on the coast of Baja California. This piece is inspired by the quiet and introspective afternoons on the beaches. Observing tide pools and discovering oceanic creatures during low tides were my favorite way to get lost in nature and to observe the wonder of the ocean.
