About the work
This art piece was inspired by my 11 year old son. He loves to play chess and is pretty good at it., but he lacks confidence in art. He created a drawing of a chess board for his great-grandfather, who taught him to play. My son's drawing and the sentiment behind it inspired me to create this art piece.
