Having grown up on an island in Sweden, I'm inherently drawn to water in any shape or form. To hear waves curling into shore, to be still and take it all in for a moment truly makes me happy. This image was shot a beautiful afternoon as the sun was setting overlooking the ocean in the small sea town Cayucos in California. I hope it evoke as much joy and tranquility for you and it does for me, enjoy!

Hi I’m Lisa Sundin, a self-taught Swedish photographer living in LA. I’m inherently drawn to simplicity and minimalism, and my work often has neutral or pastel hues with strong leading lines. I believe that it’s often the simplest of objects and compositions that can have the largest impact on us, leaving room for interpretation and for us to create our own story. I very much appreciate you taking the time to view my work and I always love to hear from you: lisasundin@mac.com
