About the work
Alcohol inks are a relatively new medium and I prefer to allow them to meander and mix on a tile without a paintbrush, creating some of the most interesting and organic shapes while I gently move the tile to help them dance together. This alcohol ink painting with a rich explosion of purple and gold pigments on a marble tile brings thoughts of my little boys cracking geodes open to find their treasures. This jewel brings the perfect combination of earthy and elegance into your home.
