About the work
This was as they say one of those happy accidents, creating a subversions of focus blurring the sea and sky and a thin line of land between. I was using a fancy new camera and lost in the moment as sunset quickly approached I quickly snapped shots. And reflecting back this image is how I remember much of that day. The bright sun falling on the rippling water blown softly by wind.

It's my art that saves me. I have been making art of one form or another my whole life. I have worked in many mediums: photography, collage, bookarts, printmaking, painting, and fabric design.
