I shot this photograph on a wonderful roadtrip to Nevada visiting one of their mining ghost towns. The soft monochromatic grey and blue tones of these textured walls really reminded me of my childhood growing up in Northern Sweden where architectural details like these were common. I felt a sense of calm and belonging shooting this image and hope its strong leading lines combined with its soft and muted tones will be a nice new addition to your home.

Hi I’m Lisa Sundin, a self-taught Swedish photographer living in LA. I’m inherently drawn to simplicity and minimalism, and my work often has neutral or pastel hues with strong leading lines. I believe that it’s often the simplest of objects and compositions that can have the largest impact on us, leaving room for interpretation and for us to create our own story. I very much appreciate you taking the time to view my work and I always love to hear from you: lisasundin@mac.com
