On a desert road trip through the Southern California desert, I spotted this vintage sign and knew I had to pull over and capture it. The mid-century angles against the cloudless blue sky made me wonder what the small town below it must have been like when the sign was originally put into place. I love the nod to the past, the vintage graphics of the sign, and the hot California sun in this photograph.

I've been a professional photographer for over a decade, but love making art in just about every form. My illustrations and paintings tend to be floral and a bit quirky, and my photography leans toward line and texture...but there's always room for something new. You'll find me working while sipping a coffee- mostly late at night, while the kids are asleep.
