About the work

I've become extremely drawn to the technique used for this piece, with an end result that is a sort of atmospheric 'freckle' negative space. With hints of bold color amidst an overwhelming calm, this watercolor painting recalls memories of aerial views, rock formations, garden planning, & night skies.
