About the work

My husband names all my paintings and he said this looked like a beautiful field of snow that our dog might run in. I love that people create their own stories. To me its purely from my imagination, not any place in particular. I just was very drawn to this color palette and the mood of the piece. I knew I wanted to convey a vast landscape with a cloud filling the sky...after that the painting took on a life of its own.
