This mixed media work has a distinguished mood, that has been called celebratory decay. It celebrates a sense of decay, an aesthetic of charming and melancholic feelings. The colors echo that sense, with a palette of eroded greens and pale pinks. The work consists of acrylic paint and collaged paper on wood board, digitally edited.

    about the artist

    byBethania Lima

    Montevideo, UY

I am a surface designer. I am Brazilian, lived in Chile in the last 10 years and have just moved to Uruguay. I am passionate about pattern, colour and design. After 20 years working in a completely different area back in my country, I grabbed a relocation opportunity to take the plunge and go after my passions, facing the ups and downs of a freelance career. None of this would have been possible without the great support of my lovely family and friends. Thank you for visiting my store!
