About the work
This is the second in a series of three photos of the clouds moving across and revealing the volcano Haleakala in Maui, Hawaii. This was really mysterious to me because of how well it hid from sight completely. I was standing in a fog when suddenly before me peeked this hidden mountain side.

Mary Ann is strongly inspired by the diverse environment of the Gulf Region, the uncommon beauty of urban landscapes and a wide range of subject matter depicting life in New Orleans. Mary Ann's favorite way to share her artistic vision is through photographic prints, and acrylic and mixed media paintings.
