About the work

I am inspired by the vastness of the mountain range near my home. At the time I took this photo the sky was filled with smoke causing a haze to settle in the mountain valleys. The setting sun filtered through the haze creating a sense of calm and tranquility through multiple layers of color that faded in the distance.
