As a child, the changing seasons were a source of never-ending mystery + magic; secrets were revealed as layers of ice melted, exposing remarkable forms + patterns. I’ve always loved the concept of magic; making things appear + disappear and I am inspired by the originality + transformations in nature. I love working with paint, pencil, charcoal, ink, bronze, gold dust, brushes, rags + tools collected over time — creating pieces with a beautiful patina, depth of spirit + hopefully… magic.
