Hiking up a mountain, you spend much of the time looking at the mountain itself in front of you. But on the descent, you get to enjoy vista after vista, with miles and miles of hills and mountains stretching out before you. But as the title states, it's best to pause and enjoy it so you don't lose your footing when you aren't looking at the trail right in front of you.
