Vintage telescope sign overlooking downtown Los Angeles, California at the Griffith Observatory. This print was taken on a late summer afternoon as I watched tourists capture the hustle and bustle of the downtown Los Angeles skyline and, of course, the iconic Hollywood sign; but it was the somewhat understated "telescope" sign that caught my eye, not only because of its minimalist lines but because it was suggesting that I not just look to the stars below in Hollywood but to the stars and heavens above...the inspiration behind the art print name "Look to the Stars."

See?..was my first word as a baby. As a testament to the frequency in which it was spoken, it adorned the top of my 1st birthday cake. Today, I am inspired by color and I "see" overlooked beauty through both my camera and painting, creating art that evokes calm and happiness. Finding beauty has little to do with the things you see, and everything to do with the way you see them. It is my hope that my work inspires you to see the extraordinary in our ordinary days.
