As a photographer, I am always looking for natural light to enhance the landscapes that intrigue me. I captured this magical moment on our farm early on a crisp autumn morning. The golden light rays were burning through the fog that was rising from the creek. Reflections of the leaves and branches can be found in the areas of the creek where the fog had already lifted.

    about the artist

    byJan McElhinny

    Pittsburgh, USA

I am a photographer from a small town north of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania that loves being outdoors enjoying nature. This is where my creative inspiration comes from. My style is to see the big picture through landscapes and then break the scene down into smaller details in the macro world. I am always looking for beautiful light, shadows, textures and color to capture in my photographs. When I look through the lens, my goal is to not only photograph what I see, but also how it makes me feel.
