The Calanais Standing Stones are estimated to be 5000 years old. It's mind boggling to think about the history that has passed in that time--each stone a metaphor for how change affects us each differently depending what we are made of and the pressure applied. Part of a set of 8 individual standing stones weathered by centuries of wind, water, and human touch.
