About the work

This graphite pencil sketch was created while sitting near the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The day was like any other day in Florida, full of sunshine with a gentle breeze. I sketched to the distant sound of waves rising, falling, and rolling back into the sea. I hope this gathering of waves reminds you of the beauty and peace we can often find while in nature.
