About the work

Lottie Aldarwish paints from her studio in Guelph, Ontario Canada. She loves the effect that artwork has on a space and is eternally inspired by how different colors and shadows play out against each other, especially in nature through clouds and different times of the day. She's passionate about using natural materials and loves the feel of painting on imperfect wood. Her cabinet-maker husband repurposes discarded maple wood floors to create custom frames for all the original paintings.
