About the work
This acrylic landscape captures a moment of stillness while watching the sun set on a woodsy trail. Hints of golden light peek through the tall pines and illuminate patches of wispy grass that frame the partially frozen lake. Although there is a fair amount of detail shown, the choppiness of the brush strokes give the illusion of a soft breeze over the lake.
