About the work
I spent a day wandering around an old town in Arizona. I was completely intrigued by the plant's determination to grow and hang on to anything they could. I came across this corner and just loved the different textures and colors, along with the way this ivy grew in the smallest of patch of dirt and cling to the building making it's way up and around the corner.

I consider myself a storyteller and a photographer. While I am formally trained in film, I let my heart lead me to use my camera and vision to tell a story. I love creating beautiful images, preserving memories and making art. I believe every image has the ability to evoke an emotion and convey a story. Sometimes the stories jump out at me, sometimes I have to create it. My joy comes from spending time with my husband Jay, our pup Rosie, looking for new stories to tell.
