In our mind's eye, we often imagine architecture as an inert feature of our world. But when wandering the streets of a mesmerizing city, architecture actually becomes fluid and changing, revealing varied spaces in a theatrical narrative of discovery. Here, the tucked-away courtyard of Rome’s Santa Maria della Pace emerges from an ink wash, echoing the city’s dramatic unfolding.
