About the work

I created a series of work that was inspired by a minimalistic approach to composition and colour selection. Simple subjects and simple forms are enriched with a perfectly harmonised colour palette. Beautiful texture in this piece contributes to the beauty of this piece while also keeping it simple. I take a lot of inspiration from kids painting. They are so fearless with their choices and so unapologetically themselves. My contribution to this is hidden in the wrong perspective of the table and in the simple almost symmetrical composition of this piece.
