About the work
This is a mixed media piece that combines a soft watercolor background wash and thick, acrylic brushstrokes, creating texture and leading the eye casually yet deliberately around the painting. The movement and contrast within the abstract composition is accented with soft, metallic elements, adding to it's organic feel. There is a sense of emotion within the movement in this piece - light and carefree yet deep and thoughtful.
