This hand-drawn botanical illustration depicts 15 different flowers, most of which are pollinator-friendly plants. It was created by laying down the colors first with alcohol marker, and then going back in with pen for the line work. This piece was inspired by a themed sketchbook I was keeping, in which I drew each variety of flower as it appeared in my garden over the course of a year. It shows the diversity of plant life that can co-exist in a small space.

I have always been attracted to organic forms and perspectives where it is difficult to determine the scale. All-encompassing views which appear as if they were their own environment, I find to be especially captivating.
