About the work

Sometimes, an orange is just an orange. Or three. This piece is the result of a daily practice of creating one work of art every day for 48 days. I found myself painting what was in front of me. In this case, three cuties I bought for my daughter's lunch. What's not to love about cuties?

I'm inspired by anything made by hand, by organic patterns found in nature, and words that make me laugh and/or cry.
