About the work
This is another painting of pink peonies. I tried to mute the colors and suppress the contrast and the efforts resulted with a nostalgic feeling in the painting. Somehow it is also very tranquil and serene. Not on purpose but a lot of the times the tone of paintings reflect the emotion at the moment.
