About the work

Nothing quite says Americana like a Fourth of July fireworks show. This photograph captures all the excitement and color of a fireworks finale on that day, in a long exposure that makes that final flashboom all the brighter, all the louder. You can almost smell the smoke wafting across the surface of the lake.
