About the work
Nature is often the source of inspiration for my art, and orchids are one of my favorite subjects. In this piece the close up image focuses on the details and form of the flower and it's petals. The soft violet background complements the soft white petals of the flowers. This image is serene and relaxing. This one of a series of three orchid images with the violet background.

I graduated from UCLA School of Medicine and began my career as a physician in diagnostic radiology. Photography became my creative outlet and way of relaxing.
