About the work

On a trip to Parma, Italy I came across an amazing flea market that was teeming with vintage items. As I strolled along I came across this old Orga Privat typewriter and it stopped me in my tracks. In a day and age where everything is mass produced and is sleek and modern, there was a beauty in this machine like no other. The rich black color, the beautiful lines and the intricate craftsmanship are something to be appreciated. The saying "they don't make them like this anymore" certainly rings true here.
