About the work

I live in Syracuse, NY. On average, we get 100" of snow a winter. It's usually more like 120-150." That is a lot of snow. Kids love it, most adults hate it. I find it absolutely beautiful. Some snow is light, fluffy, and sparkly. Some snow is heavy and coats everything in a thick, white blanket. There is nothing like the first snowfall of the season, covering the brown landscape with a fresh, bright white coating with big, fat flakes floating gently in the air. My surroundings inspire me and snow plays a big part of that. This is part of a series of snow themed art prints.
