About the work
I was on an evening sailboat ride, towards the end of summer. The sun was setting, and making these beautiful colors on the water. I trained my close up lens on it, and each frame was different. To me this is kind of dreamy. Like the waves of consciousness, as you drift off to sleep...part of a Series of 4. Gold On the Water 1 & 2 and Dreaming in Water 1 & 2. Photograph.
