About the work

While expecting my twin babies, I spent 3 months working a series entitled 'Nesting Instinct'. It was such fun to focus my time and energy on creating a series of portraits of fluffy and engaging little chickens, and other peculiar birds. Each portrait is set atop a watery floral or patterned background in order to add an individualistic feel. They seem to look the best hanging in groups of three or five creating a colorful little flock of charming feathered friends.
