About Katharine Watson

Katharine Watson is an artist and printmaker based in Portland, Maine. Katharine grew up in London and Hong Kong, and settled in Portland in 2015. She begins her work with a sketch that she translates to a linoleum block and then carves by hand, later printing these designs onto stationery, textiles, ceramics, and other everyday goods. When she's not in her studio, she's out gardening with her husband and two dogs, or reading home design magazines with a cup of jasmine tea.

Hi Katherine, I was giggling over that design when I got your great suggestions. I was thinking of naming it "Life Support" as I have tried a million things with it. I can't make the flowers any sharper but added a little texture and background to give all of it a smudgier look. Please take a look when you have a minute and if you have any more comments I'd value them. Thanks
