About Elaine Stephenson

An Atlanta native, Elaine Stephenson is an artist, designer and calligrapher working out of Atlanta, GA. She decided to pursue art as a career path and holds a BFA in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design from the University of Georgia. Studying graphic design ignited her love for typography and lettering by hand, which led to her discovery of calligraphy. From her design background and love of crafting by hand, Elaine found her calling in painting and calligraphy.

Thank you so much for your help on my Flourish design. I totally agreed with text needing to be a little more modern. I really wish i would have asked for advice earlier because i didnt leave myself the time to make improvements this morning. and as it turns out our office has recently taken away privledges to install new fonts on our computers, so I was left with limited font choices and about 30 minutes UGH. I made a few changes because i just couldnt leave it as it was. but i didnt want you to think i ignored you guys.. i apreciate the help sooo much! Thanks again!

Hey Elaine! Thank you for your sweet note...hooray for UGA alums on Minted! I graduated in '09 so I bet we crossed paths a few times and may not have realized it :) I wasn't able to make it back for the last few exit shows so I feel so out of the loop.
