Hi Kelly! Thanks so much for your nice comments about my art print - I am copying what it says at the bottom here - it is an actual equation someone worked out to measure memory - that is just amazing to me! Hermann Ebbinghaus extrapolated his hypothesis of the exponential nature of forgetting in 1885. This formula can roughly describe the route of memory: “r” equals memory retention, “s” is the relative strength of memory & “t” is time.
