I love the sound of belly laughs, the smell of freshly mown grass, walking barefoot in the sand, getting lost in a book, turning the music up loud, piling up on the couch with family to watch a movie, enjoying my latte once everyone is out the door. It truly is the simple, everyday things that bring us happiness. That is what my photography is about, taking images that capture a fresh perspective on everyday, ordinary subjects, reminding us that there is beauty in all that surrounds us ~ enjoy!

Hi Arden, you are welcome! For the fluid photograph, Depending on the time of day I have to adjust my aperture and iso, but my shutter speed is always less than 20. Then while shooting I experiment with moving the camera in different ways or using the soon to create abstracted imagery that I then edit in Lightroom or Photoshop.

Hi Ardell! I love your photo "a boy and his dog!" As soon as I saw it, I had to see if you were from Alberta (might be …or are you on the Sask side of Lloyd ;) because I have some similar family photos of my son that were taken at a Lake I grew up at!! This image SO, SO reminded me of it :) Your image wasn't by chance taken at Muriel Lake was it? Regardless, I love it, and I wish you the best of luck in the challenge!
