About Andrea G. Heffner

Growing up, I spent most days sitting on my bed with a lined spiral notebook propped up against my legs, a pencil, and my thoughts. I would create stories as I filled the pages with my drawings . . . and my closets with the notebooks. Today, I am based in Williamsburg, Virginia, and I continue to draw, although not on lined notebook paper. I use pencil, ink, and gouache to create cheerful and bright illustrations that invite personal connection.
