Frame Close-upAfter studying painting at the Cleveland Institute of Art, I returned to the medium several years ago. I love the way watercolors and paper interact in a sometimes unpredictable way. The simplicity of the composition and the loose painting style capture the glass green waves and the joy and freedom of surfing.
