I used a textural blue wash and an unusual perspective in this minimalist watercolor composition that captures a blissful moment of solitude on the open water. I often use large brushes and a loose paint style to create a feeling of energy and motion.

I'm told that as a toddler, I spent hours exploring the treasures in my mom’s jewelry box. Maybe that’s where my fascination with design, color and form began. I began drawing and painting in grade school and never stopped. Later, I attended art school and then graduated with a degree in graphic design.
My style is fresh, loose and impressionistic. I like bold, simple compositions that create a serene environment. less
