I used a single color and loose brush strokes in this minimalist watercolor composition that captures a moment of solitude and serenity on the open ocean. I often paint with large brushes that allow the paint to play on the surface of the paper.

I'm told that as a toddler, I spent hours exploring the treasures in my mom’s jewelry box. Maybe that’s where my fascination with design, color and form began. I began drawing and painting in grade school and never stopped. Later, I attended art school and then graduated with a degree in graphic design.
My style is fresh, loose and impressionistic. I like bold, simple compositions that create a serene environment. less
