About the work

This photographic fine art print was inspired by one of my very favorite plants that sits in my yard weathering each season like a champ, and producing one to three fig harvests each and every year. I'm always captivated by the generosity of this plant which provides for so many creatures including animals, insects, and us humans. The birds, deer, bats, our family, and sometimes even a neighbor or two seem to enjoy the fig fruit the most. The leaves are tough yet they look delicate with their intricate vein details, signature shaped leaves. I enjoy bringing the outdoors in, with this fine art print.
