Maja is a painter and print-maker, who arrived in Texas after many tumultuous years of refugee life. Art is her playground, and painting allows her to stretch her skills and imagination. Inspiration for children’s art in particular comes from the memories of the moments with her son; capturing their daily adventures, immortalizing their favorite candy and celebrating this life they have been blessed with.
