Further exploring the mixed media photo collage by incorporation my original paintings. Here paint and photograph overlap, blur, and partially obscure one another. The work borrows the emotional register of historical painting, its reverence, its quiet drama, while allowing contemporary materials and sensibilities to fracture the illusion. This piece is less about nostalgia than about continuity. It asks how beauty survives translation. How the language of the past can be carried forward, altered, and reimagined without losing its depth.
