Warm Gold I & II were painted together (two 48x48 canvases) and became graceful sweeps of merging creams, sienna’s, gold’s, greys, black and white. It felt like a dance across the canvas warmed by the gold. They look wonderfully hung together or alone and are also part of my “Warm Collection.”

ABOUT THE ARTIST

As an artist, painting can be tormenting and sublime at the same time. I'm a big risk taker, experimenting with different materials to layer, stain, scrap and saturate color on large canvases. My most successful work is complex yet minimal. Some of my work achieves a sense of fluid movement with saturated color, while my newer collection is so textured it is like frosting. The end result should be a painting that will spiritually and emotionally capture, calm, and elevate us. less
