I wanted to create a painting that abstractly represented the feeling of summer. There's nothing quite like eating a nice cold cup of sherbet on a warm summer night, while the circular shapes represent frozen ice cream dropped on the hot pavement. This painting has a soft neutral palette, with just a touch of sweetness.
