This photo features the holographic colors of the scenic Paoay Lake. The lake is situated in our province, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. According to some historical accounts, the lake was once a plain inhabited by villages. It became a body of water due to storms and earthquakes. Legend has it that some fishermen would catch fish that have jewelry inside their mouths and that ruins of churches and houses can still be seen in the depths of the water.
