While visiting my brother in Healdsburg, California, I spent some time at Lake Sonoma Park where there is a large beautifully designed circular overlook with wooden bridges and stairs that lead to different overlook views. I happened to arrive in the late afternoon when the overhead trellis was casting long shadows creating amazing designs. I captured this photo, a side view of stairs and shadows, creating an symmetrical pattern of square of light and dark against the bright yellow stairstep paint.
