What better to do on a snow day than walk out onto the ice? The ice was thick that day, with multiple cracks on multiple levels. One could stand (safely) on the thick surface, and glimpse all levels through the crystal clear ripples to the water below. A shock of snow provides striking contrast to the hypersaturation that merely turns up the notch on the colors present under the ice.
